Safety Manager |
Job Description: |
Responsible for providing a workplace free of safety hazards and to assist company personnel in completing all work in a safe manner, to work closely with field management to plan ahead for all safety concerns before each project task is approached, to assist in providing safety direction, internal training, safe practices enforcement, and support for the company injury prevention efforts.
Requirements:
• 1 - 3 years of construction safety management experience.
• Working knowledge of safety standards including 29 CFR 1926.
• Leadership and strong communication skills are a must
• Working knowledge of large commercial construction and associated hazards.
• 30 hour OSHA training within the last five years
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Training, data collection and analyses experience
• Experience with multi-contractor job sites
• Passion for safety
Preferred:
• A working knowledge of scaffold
• A background in Masonry or related fields
• CPR/First Aid Training
• Certifications that include scaffolding, fall protection, forklift, hoisting, rigging and equipment operations.
• A degree or equivalent in construction or construction safety

Pay Rate: |
Negotiable Depending on Experience |
